| Complete Growth Medium | The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

| Subculturing | Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by standing culture flask vertically until cell clusters settle to bottom of flask. Remove approximately 1/3 of the culture medium. Break up clusters by gently pipetting and add fresh medium. Expand cultures into new culture vessels as necessary.
Add fresh medium every 2 to 4 days (depending on cell density). |
